The annual benefits open enrollment period is now open until Nov. 6.

The annual benefits open enrollment period for U of A employees to select plans for 2024 is now available as an inbox task to complete in Workday and will close at 5 p.m. on Nov. 6.

Completion of the open enrollment process is not required unless employees have a flexible spending account, which requires re-enrollment each year. If no action is taken, 2023 benefits selections will roll over to 2024. Employees must be 50% appointed (average 20 hours) or greater and not in a student position, such as a senior graduate assistant, to be eligible for benefits.

Enrollments for dependents (e.g., spouse or child) require documentation of eligibility. Employees have until the end of the open enrollment period to self-correct dependents who should no longer be listed on the plan in Workday before a formal audit will be performed in January.
