Digital Humanities Meet-Up: World Languages & DH Futures Project Pitch Today
The World Languages & Digital Humanities Studio will host the next DH Meet-Up on Thursday, Sept. 28, from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m., and will center project pitches for future digital humanities (DH) projects, or projects that are still in the planning phase or early stages.
Presenters will be limited to a three- to three-and-a-half-minute project pitch that will then be reviewed by a committee focusing on three criteria (innovation and collaboration, feasibility and applicability to world languages & cultures) to determine the top three pitches, and presentations will be followed by a discussion. Winners will be announced later that day. Presenting is open to WLLC/CLCS faculty and graduate students only.

The DH Meet-Up is free and open to the U of A community (faculty, graduate students, staff and undergraduate students), and all are welcome to attend. Lunch will be provided following the event at the WLDH Studio.
