Chinese Program to Celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival Today
The Chinese Program from the Department of World Languages, Literatures & Cultures will host the Mid-Autumn Festival at the World Languages & Digital Humanities Studio (J.B. Hunt Center 207) from 4:30-5 p.m. today, Thursday, Sept. 28,
The Mid-Autumn Festival, also called the Moon Festival, is one of the most widely celebrated traditional festivals in China and Chinese communities overseas. It's on Aug. 15 of the lunar calendar, and the full moon that night symbolizes family reunion.
Come celebrate this beautiful day with the students and faculty from the Chinese program with mooncakes, tea, games, poetry and songs!
