As Head Coach Sam Pittman and his Razorback Football team return to the gridiron for the 2023 season, U of A students, faculty, staff, alumni and fans are encouraged to show their support by wearing Razorback Red every Friday throughout the season.

Businesses around the state of Arkansas are also encouraged to have their employees participate by wearing Razorback apparel to work each Friday. In addition, fans are encouraged to fly Razorback flags every Friday to show support.

The tradition of Red Glow Friday originated in 2014, when Razorback Athletics began lighting Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium in red on Friday nights before home football games. As part of the celebration, the U of A Alumni Association will also light the Toller Bell Tower red every home game Friday. All fans are invited out to check out the stadium and celebrate in this exciting tradition!
