Graduate Students and Health Services on Campus Dialogue Today
The U of A Graduate Professional Student Congress cordially invites all graduate students to our September Policy dialogue scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 28, starting from 5 p.m. at the Gearhart 026 auditorium.
Policy Dialogue is a forum where graduate and professional students interface with university administrators/experts to discuss pertinent topics that affect their wellbeing and success on campus. It is also an opportunity for GPSC members to explore possible areas of partnerships with campus organizations/units to improve service delivery and graduate students experience.
The September dialogue focuses on the health services on campus and is scheduled as follows:
- First speaker: Dr. Huda Sharaf and Dr. Danette Horne
- Topic: Graduate students and (mental) health services on campus (5 - 5:30 p.m.)
- Second speaker: Jennifer Michaud and Laura Anglea James
- Topic: Advocating for students with disabilities; the roles of the Center for Educational Access (CEA) (5:30 - 6 p.m.)
- Q and A: 6 - 6:15 p.m.
- Venue: Gearhart Auditorium 026 and on Zoom
Please note that the GPSC Assembly meeting starts immediately after this event.

Arkansas alumnus Hunter Woodhall delivered a gold medal performance in the T62 400m final at Stade de France on Friday with a winning time of 46.36 seconds and also picked up bronze in the 4x100-meter relay.
