New Episode of 'International in NWA' Now Available
International in NWA, a podcast produced by the International Students and Scholars Office in the Graduate School and International Education, has released a new episode for the month of September.
The episode is titled "Three Keys to Status and Graduate Student Support" and features a discussion of the keys to helping F-1 and J-1 students maintain their immigration status — enrollment, employment and expiry. This episode also features an interview with Umer Rahman, associate director of graduate student support, who discusses his personal experiences, including his own "immigrant story," and how he works to serve graduate students at the university, helping them succeed and thrive on their journey.
International in NWA provides information to help international students and scholars thrive at the U of A. The podcast has covered a range of topics including job hunting, food resources and campus safety, in addition to information about maintaining immigration status in the United States.
