Students, faculty and staff are invited to participate in activities celebrating Academic Integrity Week on Sept. 11-15. These events provide a chance to celebrate that honesty is valued within our community. Events ranging from a "Be Real" social media campaign to a panel discussion featuring ASG's president and vice president with faculty will be featured. A full list of ways to participate are listed below:

  • Monday- Friday, Sept. 11-15: A social media campaign featuring a "Be Real Mirror" will be placed at different locations on campus each day of the week. Students can take a picture at any of the Be Real Mirror locations on campus, post to Instagram, and tag @uarkhonesty. This post will enter students for a chance to win a $50 Amazon gift card! Locations of the Be Real Mirror will vary each day, so be sure to check @uarkhonesty for location details.
  • Tuesday, Sept. 12: Students can sign the Integrity Pledge featured as part of the HIPS Show & Tell with Integrity Event in the ARKU International Connections Lounge from 10 a.m. to noon.
  • Wednesday, Sept. 13: The ASG president and vice president will be participating in a panel discussion with faculty members John Gauch and Jason Endacott regarding the use of ChatGPT. This event will be focused on providing panelists a chance to discuss the capabilities of ChatGPT, ways they are currently using it and ways it can be used in the future. This event will be held in Vol Walker Hall (WALK) 250 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Desserts will be provided. Seating will be based on a first-come, first-served basis, and space will be limited. Students are encouraged to arrive early if they want to make sure to get a seat.
  • Thursday, Sept. 14: Students are invited to attend the CORD Dash from noon to 2 p.m. After visiting the CORD front desk, they will be prompted to visit three offices within the building and get a sticker provided at each visit. The Be Real Mirror will be located in the CORD that day, and students who take a picture after getting three stickers will be entered to win the $50 Amazon gift card for a second time!
