As part of the university's commitment to advancing student success, the Office of Career Connections will host the Career Everywhere Faculty Conference on Oct. 6 from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Union Ballroom.
The Career Everywhere Faculty Conference will demonstrate ways faculty can incorporate career education into courses and help students achieve their post-graduation goals and build meaningful careers.
"Supporting the career readiness of our students is critical to student success," said Provost Terry Martin. "This conference shows faculty how they can help students find a job and continue to grow in their profession long after they've earned their degrees."
Faculty can sign up to attend the entire conference or certain sessions as their schedule allows. Faculty can complete the registration form and indicate what sessions they plan to attend. Below is a list of conference sessions and times on Oct. 6:

Faculty who attend will receive a certificate of completion to be used in their annual performance evaluation and be recognized for their contributions toward student success.
The Career Everywhere concept is gaining momentum nationally due to the recognition that students learn valuable career education skills and tools from the people they have relationships with and with whom they meet regularly. Career Everywhere is intentionally embedding career education and career readiness into the full student experience. Career Everywhere provides equity and access to career development resources for all students through a network of faculty, staff, alumni and employer career champions.
