Union Mall Event: Write Letters to Veterans and Earn Volunteer Service Hours
The Center for Community Engagement invites all students and community members to join a heartfelt event from 10 a.m. to noon Monday, Sept. 11, at the Union Mall. This event offers a unique opportunity to show appreciation to our veterans and active service members.
Participants will have the chance to write letters of gratitude to veterans and active-duty service members, expressing their heartfelt thanks for their dedication and sacrifice. These letters can have a profound impact on those who have served and continue to serve our nation.
What makes this event even more special is that for every letter written, participants will earn one volunteer service hour through GivePulse. It's an excellent way to give back to our community while expressing gratitude to those who have selflessly served our country.
Mark your calendars for Monday, Sept. 11, and head to the Union Mall between 10 a.m. and noon to participate in this wonderful initiative. Your letters can make a difference, and your time will be well-spent earning volunteer service hours.
For more information or inquiries about this event, please contact Katie Brocklesby at keb046@uark.edu.
Let's come together as a community to honor our veterans and active service members and make a positive impact on their lives. Don't miss this chance to show your gratitude!
