Resume Workshop Offered Today for Graduate Students Through 'Graduate Hour'

Graduate students can participate in a professional development workshop this week focused on their success through "Graduate Hour," an ongoing series of hour-long graduate student programming offered by the Office of Graduate Student Support in the Graduate School and International Education. The workshop is free to attend, and registration is not required.

The workshop, titled "Distinguish Your Resume/CV," will be held from 3-4 p.m. today, Thursday, Sept. 7, which walks students through how to create a dynamic resume that highlights students' experiences, achievements, skillsets and goals. The workshop will be held in room 0501 of Science Engineering Hall (SCEN).

The workshop is part of "Graduate Hour," a series of hour-long sessions held throughout the year for graduate students.

"We are thrilled to be offering Graduate Hour to our graduate students to make sure they have the skills, knowledge and resources they need to succeed," said Umer Rahman, associate director of graduate student support.
