Hill Records Looking for Student Officers

Hill Records is looking for the following officer positions: website designer, photographer, videographer, graphic designer, and producer.

Hill Records is a student-led indie record label operating out of the University of Arkansas. It is responsible for releasing local music and fostering talent in the Northwest Arkansas area. Not only is this a professional development opportunity, but you also get to work closely with up-and-coming artists, get hands-on experience at our showcases, and learn the ins-and-outs of the music industry.

Your application is due by 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 15.

Hill Records is looking for hardworking, driven individuals with a passion for music and community. 

The open positions and their descriptions are listed below. 

Website Designer
In charge of updating and designing our website. Must know or be willing to learn how to use WordPress. Web design experience is preferred. 

Photographer
Takes photos of concerts and gigs for promotional content. Can sometimes work one on one with artists to take pictures of the recording process or for their own promotion. Must work in tandem with our other photographer to take headshots of the team at the end of September. Will get special access to shows when necessary. Must have access to equipment. 

Videographer
Handles promotional videos and generates content at showcases, gigs, and other events. Must have editing experience and access to equipment. Will get special access to shows when necessary.

Graphic Designer
Could do anything from designing posters, album covers, etc. Will also work in tandem to another designer. Formal training is not required but we would like to see some of your work in advance! Must have access to preferred application. 

Producer
This is a new position we're looking to include this year. We would like to start producing more of our music in-house. If you have experience in this field, we highly encourage you to apply. We'd like to start formulating what this would look like.
