Setting yourself apart from the crowd is more important than ever. A new course in the Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences can help. In this course, students will build a professional website to showcase their unique talents and skills. An ePorfolio will help students stand out in the job or graduate school search and is a great way to document the things that you are learning in college.

Professional ePortfolio ARSC 3203, is designed to aid students in building their professional ePortfolio from beginning to end. The class is interactive and hands-on. This 3-credit-hour course is designed for any major, sophomore to senior level. A former student wrote, "This class has been extremely helpful in preparing for graduation and my job source. It helps students gear up for the big transition of graduating college."

Data shows that ePortfolios are helping students stand out in a crowded field. A 2021 study from the American Association of Colleges and Universities found that nine in 10 employers reported that they appreciate ePortfolios in the hiring process, and nearly half said they would be very likely to click on an applicant's portfolio in a resume or application.

For more information, students can speak to their academic adviser or enroll in the course directly. If you have questions about course content, contact Lynn Meade (lmeade@uark.edu).
