NSF Major Research Instrumentation Program Information Workshop
The Division of Research and Innovation will host an informational workshop about the National Science Foundation's Major Research Instrumentation Program from 11 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Aug. 22. The workshop will be in-person located in Mullins Library 452 and attendees should register here.
The National Science Foundation's Major Research Instrumentation Program serves to increase access to multi-user scientific engineering instrumentation for research and research training by awarding grants for the acquisition or development of research instruments. The NSF's MRI Program provides support for the purchase of these instruments that are in general too costly and/ or not appropriate for support through other NSF programs. The program also provides support by developing instruments with new capabilities that advance research in science and engineering.
The workshop will be informative to prepare for the annual internal competition due mid-August 2024.
