Changes to HogSync

If you have not heard, exciting changes are coming to HogSync as we continue the move from Engage to a new system called CampusGroups.

The new system is already available at hogsync.uark.edu as part of our soft launch this summer throughout orientation.

The old HogSync will remain accessible at uark.campuslabs.com/engage/ until Friday, June 30. All groups and users have been migrated, but forms, photos, documents, etc. must be saved individually before the June 30 deadline.

The Division of Student Affairs will offer trainings later this summer, but representatives from the most active departments have been part of implementation and are happy to answer questions.

CampusGroups will offer exciting new features including:

  • A smartphone app for both iOS and Android devices
  • Ability to do event check-in via QR codes, the mobile app or by traditional card swipes
  • Beautifully designed websites and HTML emails
  • Customized tracks to intentionally encourage student engagement
  • Integration with CashNet and room reservation systems such as 25Live and EMS

Watch this brief overview of CampusGroups for new users.

Not all features will be available immediately as implementation continues throughout the summer and into fall.
