U of A Launches New Social Media for Campus Services and HR
The U of A recently launched a new social media presence for campus services and Human Resources (HR).
To enhance communication and provide timely updates to students, faculty and staff, the U of A recently launched a new social media presence for campus services and Human Resources (HR).
The new social media accounts aim to keep the university community informed about essential services, events, job openings and professional development opportunities. With the addition of these platforms, the university hopes to foster a stronger sense of community and ensure efficient dissemination of important information.
Campus Services
The university has introduced three key social media accounts for Campus Services, which encompasses Transit & Parking, UAPD, IT Services (including Tech Store and Student Technology Center), Facilities Management, Business Services, Treasurer's Office and Printing. Whether it's finding information about parking and transit options, learning about a new digital tool from IT Services or exploring career opportunities and HR events, the new social media accounts are intended to be valuable resources for the university community.
Campus Services can be found with the username @UARKServices on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.
Human Resources
The HR department has also established a social media presence that features faculty and staff news and feature stories, internal and external job openings, HR events and professional development opportunities.
The HR department's social media, catering to both external and internal audiences, can be found at @UARKHR on Facebook and Twitter and at @UAHumanResources on Instagram.
Police Department
The university police department continues to post safety information and crime alerts at @UARKPD on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
"The teams behind our campus services, HR and our campus police work hard every day to build an infrastructure and environment that helps the U of A and every member of our campus community flourish," Logan Wilson, senior director of administrative communications, said. "Through our social media accounts, we look forward to better connecting our followers to the people, services and information that can help contribute to their individual success and sense of belonging and purpose on campus."
