Division of Research and Innovation Launches Newsletter Highlighting Grant Opportunities

This summer the Division of Research and Innovation will distribute an electronic newsletter called Focus on Funding, which will highlight grant opportunities in various disciplines that correspond with the university's three signature research areas:

  1. Advancing the data revolution
  2. Improving human health and community vibrancy
  3. Innovating a resilient and sustainable future

All faculty will receive the newsletter bi-weekly on Fridays beginning June 9.

Any staff interested in receiving the newsletter may sign up using the link below:

Researchers are also encouraged to search for funding opportunities on their own using the database GrantForward. Through the university's license, all U of A employees have access to GrantForward. Employees can create a profile and receive personalized grant recommendations that match their research funding needs.

Achieving research excellence is one component of the university's 150 Forward Initiative, and the Focus on Funding newsletter is one way the division is contributing to research excellence.

The division's Research Development team is available to answer questions about using GrantForward and searching for funding opportunities. Training can also be provided to research groups or departments. Contact resdev@uark.edu with questions or for additional information.
