GSIE Launches LinkedIn Account, Hosts Giveaway

The Graduate School and International Education has launched a LinkedIn account to more effectively communicate to its diverse audiences. GSIE is hosting a giveaway during finals week that will award a branded lava lamp and hat for one follower selected at random. The giveaway closes on May 10.

On the platform, GSIE will share alumni success stories, graduate and international education news and other relevant highlights.

"LinkedIn is an important platform for us — not only as we want to get to know our alumni better, but also as we seek to expand our graduate and international recruiting efforts," said John Post, director of communications and marketing with GSIE. "We are excited to join the LinkedIn community and look forward to engaging with alumni, prospective students and the campus community."

GSIE is also looking for people to be featured for numerous social media features. Graduate, international and study abroad students interested in being featured should email John Post, director of communications and marketing, at johnpost@uark.edu.
