Campus Invited to Strategic Planning Update, Overview of Available Resources From EAB

The U of A campus community is invited to a learning session focused on the 150 Forward strategic planning process and helpful planning resources available from EAB, a firm specializing in higher education that is partnering with the university on various aspects of the planning process.

“There are a number of benchmarking and other tools available for campus use through our agreement with EAB that are very useful for strategic planning,” said Laura Jacobs, U of A chief of staff. “The upcoming session will provide an overview of those available resources as well as an update on the 150 Forward strategic planning process.”

Jacobs and EAB partners David Vuletich and Paul Gunther will lead the learning session. Jacobs will provide an update of where we are following several campus activities thus far as the campus sets goals and objectives going into the summer, while Vuletich and Guntherwill walk participants through the type of benchmarking, white papers and other tools are available for campus use.

The learning session will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday, May 11, on Zoom and is open to the campus.

150 Forward Update and Resources Overview

The university is currently in the second phase of the 150 Forward strategic planning process. Next steps will include developing three working groups (one focused on each pillar of student success, research excellence and employer of choice) to workshop possible metrics or KPIs, and to start the process of identifying strategies and tactics.
