Hill Records to Host Artist Showcase Event at Prairie Street Live May 3
Hill Records, the U of A's student-run record label, will host its fourth artist showcase featuring five acts at Prairie Street Live, Wednesday, May 3.
This event is $10 for all attendees, and tickets will be sold at the venue entrance. Gates open at 4:30 p.m., and the showcase will run from 5 to 9 p.m.
The showcase will feature Hill Records artists Adam Posnak, Pat Ryan Key, YRLY, Luke Howard and Nub Wub. In addition to the music, the event will also feature booths from student vendors and local small businesses where attendees can shop throughout the night.
"We are doing something a little bit different than our previous showcases in trying to make it a more festival-style event," said Amy Whiteside, president of Hill Records. "We are so excited for another opportunity to spotlight our fantastic musicians, so we hope to see a crowd of those interested in supporting local creatives!"
