Career Studio Hiring for Fall 2023

The Career Studio is looking for six students to join their fun, dynamic team starting fall 2023! Career peer mentors work in the Career Studio, a service of the Career Development Center, to provide peer-to-peer career services to students. The Career Studio is a convenient way for students to drop in to receive resume and cover letter reviews, mock interviews, job search resources, career fair information, LinkedIn profile reviews and much more, without the need for an appointment.

The studio is looking for students who can communicate, mentor others, problem-solve and work independently. Becoming a career peer mentor is an enriching experience that provides many benefits to students, such as opportunities to develop professional skills, improve communication and interpersonal skills, acquire transferable skills, learn how to utilize career tools to achieve career goals and receive access to a variety of employers, career center staff and career-related information.

All applications must be submitted through WorkDay. Applications will close on April 16. Students can find required qualifications and more information here or can contact Nakell Baker, assistant director of the Career Studio, at nakellb@uark.edu.
