A daylong slate of events will offer campus the opportunity to learn more Wednesday, March 29, about the transformational opportunities available at the Rome Center in the Graduate School and International Education.

The "Rome Forum Day" offers opportunities for the campus community to connect with the center and learn more about opportunities and the educational, intellectual and research mission of the Rome Center. The events are open to the entire campus community.

The Rome Center has served as a locale for study abroad experiences for U of A students since its establishment in 1992. Originally the campus was founded exclusively for architecture students but was expanded for students from across the university in 2016. Students can study abroad at the Rome Center during the fall, spring and summer semesters, with courses offered across the university's academic disciplines.

  • 1:30-2:45 p.m.: A roundtable discussion for the exchange of ideas and planning regarding how the Rome Center has and can function as the U of A European hub, in Gearhart Hall, room 217.
  • 2-4 p.m.: Opportunity to meet with Rome Center staff. Materials and brochures will be available in the Arkansas Union Connection Lounge.
