CCE Partners With Common Ground AR for Informative Event on Arkansas Legislative Session

The Center for Community Engagement will host an informational session conducted by Misty Orpin of Common Ground AR on the important issues being discussed currently in the Arkansas state legislature.

The session will take place from 4-5 p.m. Wednesday, March 8, in Arkansas Union 201. 

They will cover how the state legislature works in Arkansas, what is currently being worked on in the legislature and other information that is important for an informed citizen to know. The goal of the session is for students to walk away more informed about how their lives are impacted by state government and perhaps with a more clear understanding of how they can get involved to make change in our state.
