What information and resources would help U of A students studying online start off their new degree program well-prepared?

That's the question asked by Global Campus staff members. As a result, they created an online orientation course that new undergraduate students who are studying online take in the two weeks before their first semester.

The online orientation course prepares students for what to expect and informs them about many services and resources offered by the U of A, regardless of whether an online student ever visits campus. It's all part of the Global Campus staff's efforts to ensure the success of online students.

This week, The Online Learner blog takes a closer look at the online orientation course.
