The Chinese Students and Scholars Association invites students to participate in the 2022 Fall Chinese Cultural Fest at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11, at the Reynolds Center. Full Chinese meals will be provided to any student with a university-issued ID.
Fall Cultural Fest is the annual traditional celebration event hosted by the association, emphasizing fun activities and a full stage of performances including Chinese music, games, dances and a Chinese traditional fashion show. The event will be hosted with passion for students to broaden their cultural knowledge and gain connections with students from different cultural backgrounds.
Chinese culture is one of the world's oldest cultures, tracing back thousands of years. Being the biggest Chinese group here at the U of A, our mission is to bring this history-rich culture to our student body and let them experience first-hand Chinese culture. We believe that experiencing has more educational value than sitting in a classroom lecture. For the 2022 Fall Cultural Fest, the Chinese Students and Scholars Association aims to introduce traditional Chinese solar terms and the modern celebration of Single's Day (Nov. 11) to broaden the knowledge of the U of A community.
This event is supported by the Student Activities Fee as a funded event by the Associated Student Government and is free to all currently enrolled University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, students who pay the student activities fee.
