Final Week of Open Enrollment
Open enrollment is ending soon! If you wish to make benefits changes or enroll in new coverages for 2023, the deadline is Nov. 14. Open enrollment is the only time you can make changes to benefits and coverages each year, outside of a qualifying life event. Head to Workday now and get started!
The Open Enrollment 2023 course in Workday Learning will help guide you through the enrollment process. Please note that if you are not logged in to Workday, this course link will take you to myapps.microsoft.com. Log into Workday from this page to be redirected to the course.
Log in to Workday and click the Open Enrollment announcement to get started. While you can save your elections before submitting and return later, you should gather documentation for new dependents such as marriage certificates, birth certificates, adoption certifications, etc. before beginning open enrollment.
If you are enrolled in medical coverage and would like to continue with the same plan in 2023, you will still need to complete open enrollment in Workday to:
- Complete the Tobacco Pledge to avoid paying a $50 monthly tobacco surcharge. All employees must complete this in Workday each year.
- Name at least one beneficiary for basic life insurance, optional life insurance (if enrolled) and accidental death & dismemberment insurance (if enrolled).
- Enroll in Flexible Spending Accounts - annual re-enrollment is required.
Open enrollment is a good time to ensure the information on file for your dependents and beneficiaries is correct, even if you are not making any changes. Log in to Workday then click the Open Enrollment announcement to review your current elections, dependents and beneficiaries. Open enrollment can also be completed in the Workday mobile app!
Questions about open enrollment? Join your Benefits Team on Teams Wednesday, Nov. 9, from 10 a.m. to noon.
Remember — all benefit elections must be made by Nov. 14. Changes cannot be made after Nov. 14.
