Program Allocations Board to Meet Sept.14
The second Program Allocations Board of the 2022-23 school year is slated for 7:30 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 14, in Arkansas Union A640, above the Union Living Room. This meeting is open to all students to attend.
The Program Allocations Board is a group of students consisting of the following campus positions:
- Associated Student Government President Lauren Loften (chair)
- SOOIE President Shelby Jones
- Distinguished Lecture Committee Chair Maggie Martin
- Associated Student Government Vice President Tyler Merreighn
- Associated Student Government Treasurer Grady Schmidt
- Associated Student Government Senate Rep. Gabi Gies
- Headliners Concert Committee Chair Anna Draper
- University Programs President Sophie McAdara
- Volunteer Action Center President Taylen Day
- Student at-large (to be determined)
The Program Allocations Board meets regularly to allocate the student activity fee to fund various programs and events administered by the programs connected to the board. This process starts with a primary funding round at the end of the academic year to set the budget for each organization represented. Throughout the year, organizations can propose budgets to the board to request supplemental funding throughout the year. The Program Allocations Board is advised by the Division of Student Affairs.
