Union Room Requesters Must Reactivate Accounts

The Arkansas Union is conducting a database clean-up and providing policy updates to its room reservation process for users of EMS, the software used to request rooms in the facility. Anyone on campus who utilizes EMS for room requests in the Union will find that their account has been deactivated in the near future, which will prevent requesting future rooms until the account is reactivated. To reactivate their account, users will need to complete the steps below.

Please note that this process will not impact any previous, current or future room reservations in the Union. This process simply pauses a user's ability to request new rooms until they have reactivated their account in Hogsync.

  1. Please read our policies for the 2023 fiscal year. https://union.uark.edu/meetings-and-events/Arkansas_Union_Policies_2022_2023.pdf
  2. In Hogsync please fill out the Union Reservation Agreement: Academic Year 2022-2023. https://hogsync.uark.edu/organization/arkansas-union  The form can be found at the link provided or by searching for the Arkansas Union in Hogsync and scrolling to the bottom of the Union page. The agreement will be under the forms section of our page. An active Worktag will be required to complete the form.
  3. Arkansas Union Event Services staff will review applications as they come in and update our EMS software with the information provided. Once complete, your account will be reactivated. We will email departments notifying them when we have completed the process. Please allow our team two business days to process forms and update our software.
