Nominations Open for UARK Leaders Program - Cohort 3 (2022-2023)

Nominations are open for the 2022 - 2023 cohort of the UARK Leaders Program. The purpose of this program is to develop a diverse group of leaders across campus who will work together to ensure the success of the university mission, vision and values. The program is designed for leaders at the following levels who manage people: directors, associate chairs and department chairs. 

The UARK Leaders Program is designed to develop leadership competencies in strategic thinking, leading a team and balancing advocacy. The competencies are threaded throughout the content and activities of the UARK Leaders Program. 

Nominations are open for the third cohort of the program, which will run from September 2022 - May 2023. The program is structured to include a half-day kick off meeting, four day-long workshop sessions, one self-assessment, up to three one-on-one coaching sessions with a professional coach and a team-based action learning project focused on real-time university issues. Nominate or self-nominate by completing the Nomination Form or Self-Nomination Form by July 29, 2022, at 5 p.m. Cohort selection will be completed in August following nominee interviews. 

Please note: The department is responsible for the $2,000 cost per participant for program participation.
