Ha Named "Future of the Field" by Society of Research Administrators International
Brooke Ha, senior grant specialist in the Division of Research and Innovation, was recognized with the Society of Research Administrators International's (SRAI) "Future of the Field" award.
"We are ecstatic for Brooke to receive this globally recognized award," said Julie Swaringim-Griffin, associate director of pre-award sponsored programs. "This is a true testament to her hard work and dedication. We are happy to have her as a senior grant specialist on the Pre-Award Team. Congratulations to Brooke!"
The recognition program highlights the up-and-comers of research administration who demonstrate leadership among their peers and institutions in innovative ways that advance the field.
Ha was selected by a committee of research administrator peers, after the program received more than 100 nominations from around the globe. Applications were evaluated based on candidates' career history, demonstration of exceptional professional growth and significant contributions made to the advancement of research administration.
"The individuals recognized through Future of the Field are some of the best and brightest in our profession," said Debra Schaller-Demers, president, SRAI. "These are the next generation trailblazers who will drive research administration innovation in the years to come!"
"Future of the Field" honorees will be formally recognized at SRAI's annual meeting this November in Las Vegas.
