On-Campus Summer Service Opportunities
Come volunteer with the Volunteer Action Center's Full Circle Food Pantry or Razorback Food Recovery programs this summer! Both programs have a few more spots for weekly volunteering. Earn service hours, make friends and serve your Razorback community!
The Jane B. Gearhart Full Circle Food Pantry was established in 2011 to serve the U of A community through Nourishing Bodies, Empowering Minds and Creating a Community of Compassion. Full Circle is seeking weekly volunteers to fill client orders, clean the pantry, help with our garden and provide excellent customer service to our clients. Full Circle has shifts on Mondays and Wednesdays, with an option to sign up for our "extra hands" email list, where we put out calls for unexpected or irregular help with projects, events, etc. Must be 16 years or older. Email pantry@uark.edu or Lsmccoy@uark.edu for questions. Please visit this form to apply for a weekly pantry volunteer spot!
Razorback Food Recovery was established in 2014 with a mission to reduce food waste at the U of A. RFR is seeking weekly volunteers to recover, distribute and repackage food from campus dining! Recovery volunteers go into campus dining halls to recover, weigh and record produced but unserved food from dining operations, which is then distributed to local agencies that help feed our neighbors in need! Must be 16 years or older. Email recovery@uark.edu or Lsmccoy@uark.edu for questions. Please visit this form to apply for a weekly volunteer spot!
