The Distinguished Lectures Committee is currently accepting general committee member applications for the 2022-23 school year.

The Distinguished Lectures Committee is currently accepting general committee member applications for the 2022-23 school year. Applicants can apply on HogSync. The application closes at 5 p.m., Wednesday, April 20. Applications are open to all undergraduates who meet co-curricular requirements.

A full list of positions and descriptions can be found at our website dlc.uark.edu under "Apply." The committee is seeking applicants with a diverse set of skills, backgrounds and perspectives, to help continue to bring prominent lecturers to campus. After a successful year navigating online restrictions, the committee is seeking students eager to plan in-person and hybrid events for all students.

About the Distinguished Lectures Committee: The committee is a student led group who strives to bring in prominent lecturers to campus for students to listen and learn from. The Distinguished Committee receives its funding from the Program Allocations Board. In the past, the Distinguished Lectures Committee has brought in Laura Bush, Angela Davis, Laverne Cox, and most recently Tan France. All questions should be directed to lectures@uark.edu.
