Participants Needed for Research Study on Architecture and Stress
Angela Brown

Researchers at the Fay Jones School of Architecture and Design are seeking 200 U of A students to participate in a research study on architecture and stress. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the ability of architecture, specifically meditation spaces and other spaces of retreat, to moderate the effects of stress and overstimulation on people.

The study will be conducted in person at the Media Center at Vol Walker Hall (room 045) on Thursday, April 7, and Tuesday, April 12. Participants will complete an anonymous stress questionnaire and then rate images of designed interior spaces. The study will last approximately 20 minutes.

All participants will be given the opportunity to enter themselves into a drawing with the chance to win one of five $25 Amazon gift cards.

If you are interested in participating, sign up here.
