Research Assistants Needed for Child-Focused Projects
The Center for Research on Aggression and Victimization (CRAV) Lab, directed by Tim Cavell, needs undergraduate research assistants beginning Fall 2022 semester (minimum two-semester requirement). The lab focuses on developing and evaluating school-based interventions for children in the elementary grades. They study ways that parents, teachers or mentors can help children bullied by peers, children who are highly aggressive or children from military families.
Opportunities:
- Gain experience with quantitative and qualitative data collection and management
- Learn data analytic skills for both quantitative and qualitative data
- Learn about careers in mental health and the process of applying to graduate school
- Participate in preparing, submitting and presenting papers at national conferences
Requirements:
- Minimum two-semester commitment
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Sophomore or junior standing preferred
- Psychology majors preferred
