UAPD, FBI, Fayetteville Fire Department and Area Emergency Management Plan Training Exercise on Campus Today
The University of Arkansas Police Department, in coordination with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Fayetteville Fire Department Washington County and Pulaski County Emergency Management and the 61st Civil Support Team will be conducting an emergency training exercise at Bud Walton Arena starting at 7 a.m. Wednesday, March 16.
The exercise will test the coordination and response for the emergency responders in order to better respond to real world emergencies on campus. Emergency vehicles will be on campus from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
While multiple emergency vehicles will be on and around campus Wednesday, the campus community should not be alarmed as their presence is a part of the training exercise and should not be confused with an actual emergency situation.
