University Recreation to Offer Free One-Week Pass to HPER Building

University Recreation invites all current faculty and staff members to come check out what UREC has to offer during the week of Spring Break! A free one-week facility pass will be awarded to those who are interested in checking out the HPER Building. To redeem your free one-week pass, please complete this online Qualtrics form. Passes can be used Monday to Friday, March 21-25.

The UREC Main Office hours are: 

  • Monday to Thursday: 12:30-7 p.m. 
  • Friday: 12:30-4 p.m. 
  • Saturday & Sunday: Closed 

The main facility for the department of University Recreation is the Health, Physical Education and Recreation (HPER) building (located at 155 N. Stadium Dr.). Highlights include the Donna Axum Fitness Center, an Olympic-sized swimming pool, four basketball courts, an indoor track, group fitness studios, functional training areas, cycle studio, racquetball courts, bouldering and climbing walls, UREC Outdoors, and locker and shower facilities.  

The department of University Recreation  is a major campuswide service unit in the Division of Student Affairs. The mission of University Recreation is to empower students for success through recreation and wellness.
