'Red Talks' Kicks Off Envision Justice Conference
University Programs and the Volunteer Action Center host RED Talks, a student speaker event, to kick off the annual Envision Justice Conference at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 23, in Old Main's Giffels Auditorium. Eight student speakers will give short TED Talk-like speeches on four topics: civil rights, sexual assault awareness, environmental justice and mental health. This event is free and open to U of A students, faculty and staff.
This event is sponsored by University Programs through the Office of Student Activities and Volunteer Action Center through the Center for Community Engagement and is supported by the Student Activities Fee.
