Arkansas Union to Open Bookings for 2022-23 Academic Year

The Arkansas Union is announcing the opening of its reservation books to all student organizations, university departments and outside entities for the 2022-23 academic year. Beginning at 8 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 1, the Arkansas Union will accept and confirm any requests for meeting rooms, information tables, banners and other reservable spaces within the Arkansas Union, including the Verizon Ballroom and Union Theatre.

Please note that reservations for the Union Mall do not come through the Arkansas Union, and are instead handled by Facilities Management.

In order to book a space in the Arkansas Union, guests must log into the EMS reservation system using their university credentials (username and password), at unionevents.uark.edu. From this portal, reservations can now be made through the rest of the 2021-22 academic year, and 2022-23 will open on Feb. 1. Anyone looking to get a jump on booking their space is encouraged to log into the system before Feb. 1 to verify that their username and password are working, as the system sometimes disables older accounts. Reservations for spaces in the Union are taken on a first-come, first-servd basis.

Anyone seeking more information about reservable spaces in the Union, including photos, pricing, amenities or other inquiries may check the Meetings & Events section of the Arkansas Union website. Guests may also contact the Union Events team directly at auevents@uark.edu, or can call the Arkansas Union front desk at 497-575-2146. Please note that all booking requests must come through the EMS reservation system — the Union can provide assistance over phone and email, but does not accept bookings through these other methods.
