Online Application for Faculty Travel Awards Now Open

Faculty members may apply online for assistance to defray the cost of travel to conferences. This Provost Office-sponsored grant of up to $1,000 is available to all full-time, tenure-track, tenured, and non-tenure-track faculty who have been invited or accepted to make conference presentations. Presentations must be research-centered and focused on a discipline and/or in teaching or pedagogy.

All requests must be submitted by 5 p.m. Monday, Feb. 28, and travel must take place between April 1 and Sept. 30. Applicants will need to provide proof of presentation acceptance as well as evidence that they are the senior contributor for the presentation. International travel requests will require additional justification.

Preference will be given to applicants who have secured matching or contributing funds and who have not won the award in the previous two academic years. If you are interested in applying for travel assistance, please complete the application available on the Office of Faculty Affairs website. You will receive an email confirmation that your application has been successfully submitted. If you have questions, please contact the Office for Faculty Affairs at facdev@uark.edu.
