CAPS Play Day on Wednesday

Take a much-needed break from studying and join the Pat Walker Health Center's Counseling and Psychological Services for its much-anticipated end-of-the-semester event — Play Day!

Play Day will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., on Wednesday, Dec. 8 in the Arkansas Union Connections Lounge.

Play Day is one of CAPS favorite and most popular events of the year as students learn how to practice relaxing techniques. Managing stress can be difficult, but finding fun, engaging activities and tools to de-stress shouldn't be.

Play Day consists of a fun-filled afternoon with the goal of helping students take the edge off of looming finals and learn about stress-relieving tips to help them better succeed academically. CAPS will also have on-site clinicians available to talk with students.

Activities include temporary tattoos, yoga demonstrations, a dance lesson, coloring, Legos, popping bubble wrap, chair massages, and of course play dates with dogs from Fayetteville Animal Services (on-campus from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.). Free food will also be available.
