The team of the Jane B. Gearhart Full Circle Food Pantry has been celebrating 10 years of service all year, reflecting on their successes and moments of growth. Over the past few months, the team has been gathering recipes from community members to create Celebrate Together: The Jane B. Gearhart Full Circle Food Pantry 10th Birthday Cookbook, a cookbook for all ages and skill levels to celebrate the anniversary.

The Jane B. Gearhart Full Circle Food Pantry was established in February of 2011 on the U of A campus to provide food assistance to U of A community members in need. In its first week of service, Full Circle served 12 people. Now, a decade later, Full Circle serves 800-900 clients each month!

Most of all, members of the team reflected on just how grateful they are for the support over the years from donors, volunteers, students, staff, faculty, clients, everyone who has touched the pantry in some way!

This cookbook is composed of over 80 recipes submitted by various friends of the pantry, former volunteers and leaders, donors and clients. It was designed by an incredible undergraduate digital design student, Suneeta Tandon. It even includes hand-drawn sketches for every recipe! For a limited time and while supplies last, those who give $25 or more to the Full Circle Food Pantry will receive a cookbook as a token of our appreciation. With Christmas and other winter holidays coming up, we are also preparing to put together our annual Winter Holiday Meal Kits for our clients.

Each year, the Full Circle Food Pantry provides over 100 meal kits to its clients, including a whole ham and even some hot cocoa so families can keep cozy while making warm family holiday memories together. For a gift of just $50, you will sponsor a holiday meal kit for a U of A family and receive a physical cookbook shipped to your home.

They will have an official digital copy available for download online, but if you'd like a physical copy here's how you can get yours:

We have a fully accessible digital version available for free.
