World Music Ensemble in Concert This Sunday
The World Music Ensemble will be in Stella Boyle Smith Concert Hall at 5 p.m. this Sunday, Nov. 21. This ensemble performs different musics each semester based on student interest and professor Nikola Radan's direction. Students with any background in music can be a part of this ensemble.
In this eclectic concert, the World Music Ensemble will premier their original composition in the style of Desert Blues music from the Tuareg people of Northern Mali. The program will also include some Mexican, Turkish, Macedonian and Sephardic love songs, as well as several tunes from the Peruvian 18th-century manuscript Codex Martínez Compañón.

Dylan Wenino — guitar
Emily James — flute
Kassidy Moore — piano and keyboards
Kaylea Henretty — french horn
The concert is free and open to the public.
