Study Abroad Pop-Up Advising This Thursday
Study abroad Belize is the perfect program for students interested in building their resume with international service learning and study abroad. Studying abroad in Belize is easy! Flights are short and affordable, and the official language of Belize is English (though, there are many opportunities to practice Spanish).
Students who are on the Service Learning Through Community Partnerships in Belize program travel with Fulbright and Bumpers faculty and take six U of A credits in either COMM or AFLS. During the weekdays, students work alongside local community leaders at NGOs, schools and local businesses, then spend the weekends relaxing on the island of Caye Caulker and exploring nature and Mayan culture in the mountains of San Ignacio. Students participating on this program are eligible to apply for study abroad scholarships.
Interested students are invited to drop by the second floor of Kimpel Hall from 2-3:30 p.m. Thursday to talk to Belize faculty and learn about how this program can help meet degree requirements.
