The Lavender Society is hosting A Queer Thanksgiving for U of A students at the Pat Walker Health Center in the first floor classrooms at 5:30 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 23.

Lavender Society is a LGBTQIA+ registered student organization that works to celebrate queerness at each step of a student's journey to their true self. A Queer Thanksgiving is a way for the RSO to support LGBTQIA+ students and friends who may not have a safe place or welcoming family to celebrate the holiday. This event will include a free Thanksgiving meal and community support for LGBTQIA+ Razorbacks.

RSVPs can be made to Lavender Society President Toby Klein via email: tlklein@uark.edu.

This event is supported by the Student Activities Fee as a funded event by the Associated Student Government and is free to all currently enrolled U of A students who pay the student activities fee. For questions about the event or for accommodations due to disability, please contact Toby Klein, tlklein@uark.edu
