Chemistry Club Meet and Greet, Research Talk from Professor Kumar on Nov. 16
The Chemistry Club invites students to attend a meet and greet at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 16, in Arkansas Union Room 310 (by Chick-fil-A). Suresh Kumar will present about his research, and food will be provided by Ozark Catering to the first 30 attendees. Kumar will talk about his multidisciplinary FGF protein research. This program hopes to encourage and help new students get involved in research, which is vital for STEM majors, while creating bonds between peers. Students will learn about the research done in Kumar's lab to better understand what they want to look for in terms of finding a lab or doing research. The event is for U of A students only.
This event is supported by the Student Activities Fee as a funded event by the Associated Student Government and is free to all currently enrolled U of A students who pay the student activities fee. For questions about the event or for accommodations due to disability, please contact Nicole Hooten, nkhooten@uark.edu, 501-581-2251.
