Celebrate "Black is US" on Oct. 29
The U of A's NAACP chapter invites students to attend their event "Black is US," from 6-9 p.m., Friday, Oct. 29, at The Gardens. The event is a '90's-themed celebration of Blackness. There will be a Black is US art gallery that showcases prolific figures of the Black community through the decades. There will be music, a 90's costume contest and more. This event is free for all students.
This event is supported by the Student Activities Fee as a funded event by the Associated Student Government and is free to all currently-enrolled U of A students who pay the student activities fee.
