Full Circle Food Pantry Kicks Off Fifth Annual Pack the Pantry Homecoming Food Drive
Mallory MacDonald

In celebration of the U of A's Homecoming 2021, the Full Circle Food Pantry is kicking off its fifth annual Pack the Pantry Drive! The drive will officially conclude on Saturday, Oct. 23. In 2019, members collected over 23,000 goods, equating to thousands of dollars' worth of donations, and in 2020, they had another impressive year, bringing in over 8,000 goods. To accommodate limitations brought upon by the COVID-19 pandemic and our alumni and friends of the pantry who live farther away, the 2021 Pack the Pantry will consist of both physical and financial donation drives!

To ensure the safety of our team and our community, we will have time slots available for individuals and organizations to drop donations off at our space. Physical donations can also be made inside Gearhart Hall, each residence hall, the west lobby of Mullins Library and at the Multicultural Center, Commuter Lounge and Information Desk inside in the Arkansas Union. Additionally, you can visit the Full Circle Food Pantry Amazon Wishlist, which will ship donations directly to our office! If you would like to make a monetary donation, go to the U of A Online Giving Site to donate!

Our most commonly distributed items include:

  • Canned goods (fruits, vegetables, soups, beans, meats)

  • Peanut butter

  • Jelly

  • Granola bars

  • Rice/pasta

  • Mac & cheese

  • Laundry detergent

  • Hygiene products
