Fulbright College Launches DEI Student Ambassador Program, Applications Due by Oct. 10

The Office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion in the Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences is launching its new ARSC DEI Student Ambassador Program.

A group of 19 diverse and conscientious students, representing their department or school within the college, will be selected to help increase inclusivity and cultivate a greater sense of belonging throughout​ our college and campus community.

One ARSC DEI Student Ambassador per department/school will be chosen to contribute one to two hours weekly. A few benefits of participating include being awarded an ARSC DEI Student Ambassador Certificate of Achievement, receiving a graduation stole and developing a skill set that can be used in any career and in life in general.

Applicants interested in becoming ARSC DEI Student Ambassadors should be undergraduate Fulbright College students who:

  • Are committed to learning more about DEI and cultural competence.
  • Are eager to increase their knowledge and cultural awareness.
  • Are ready to hone their communication and event-planning skills.
  • Care.

Applications for the fall-spring 2021-22 academic year are due by 10 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 10.
