University of Arkansas Homecoming Theme Announced

University of Arkansas Homecoming Theme Announced
Arkansas Alumni Association

The Arkansas Alumni Association is pleased to announce that moving forward Homecoming will have a stable primary theme that will carry over from year to year. Having a primary theme already established will allow us to focus on other aspects of planning and design. It will also allow us to establish consistent and recognizable branding for Homecoming. This theme is Calling All Hogs Home.

Each year, a secondary tagline will be added to accompany the primary theme. This secondary tagline will be used to complement the Homecoming brand and inform the design of graphics, T-shirts, banners, buttons, and other items that are created annually. The goal will be to identify the tagline in early spring and announce it in time for the entire U of A campus can begin planning for the fall.

The 2021 tagline, Celebrating 150 Years On the Hill, was chosen to integrate Homecoming with our sesquicentennial as we celebrate our past and present while looking to our future. Subsequent taglines will incorporate the Unifying Themes established by University Relations and our growing understanding of belonging which is being led by Interim Chancellor Robinson.

The 2021 University of Arkansas Homecoming Celebration will take place from Oct. 10-16. All members of the University of Arkansas family are welcome to attend events during the week-long celebration. We are excited to welcome alumni back to campus, teach current students about the rich tradition of Homecoming, and connect with the University of Arkansas family. Activities will be held throughout the week leading up to the Homecoming game on Saturday, Oct. 16.
