Diversity in the Workplace Panel

The Sam M. Walton College of Business invites the campus community — students, faculty and staff — to come together for this year's Diversity and Inclusion in the Workplace Panel, which takes place virtually from 3:30-4:30 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 23. Panelists will discuss the importance of diversity and inclusion in the global economy.

Students should RSVP on Handshake via this link; faculty and staff are also welcome and encouraged to attend. Please reach out to wcobsucc@uark.edu for the Zoom link.

This panel is a fall tradition at Walton College and came together this year with support and leadership from the U of A Offices of Diversity and Inclusion and Walton Student Success. Panelists from Arvest, Arkansas Support Network, J.B. Hunt and the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City will discuss the importance of effective leadership around diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

The presenters will also provide various ways in which they recognize and value different perspectives and talents, which are vital to an organization's survival and growth. Panelists will discuss why this topic is important, how their companies support it and bringing your authentic self to work, among other critical issues. The audience will also have the opportunity to ask questions. Please join them!
