The Office for Sustainability offers a free bike and e-scooter valet at Razorback Football home games, where riders can leave their bikes while they enjoy the game.

"We haven't had many opportunities like this before," said Ammen Jordan, active transportation coordinator, "and we look forward to helping people beat the traffic and ride to the game, let us watch their bikes and then enjoy themselves without worry. This will be a great thing for Hog fans."

Bike valets help alleviate some traffic and parking issues, give bicyclists and e-scooters users preferred parking and create peace of mind for riders, and allows the group to meet their mission of fostering a safe, healthy community through active transportation.

How does the bike valet work? It works much like a coat check service. The customer leaves their bike with an attendant; the bike is then tagged with a matching ticket that the customer receives and holds onto until they return to pick up their bike. The bike valet is located on the south side of the Maple Street and Garland Avenue intersection, just a short walk from the stadium and all the pre-game festivities.

The valet service will be available one hour before kick-off — giving you plenty of time to enjoy yourself before the game kicks off. Bikes will be kept secure during the game and can be picked up until one hour after the game. A representative from OFS, SPIN or VEORIDE will be at the valet at all times.

The Bike Valet is a free service for those who commute by bike. Don't forget to pick up your bike after the event! Your bike will be available for pick-up one hour after the event ends at the same place you dropped it off.

This program is just one of many reasons that the U of A has been designated as a Bicycle Friendly University by the League of American Bicyclists.
